As of June 1st, 2026, EXTRALLOYS LLC, a new company specialized in the hot extrusion of steel profiles based in Tunica, Mississippi, becomes part of the Montanstahl Group.
EXTRALLOYS LLC: hot steel extrusion in the United States

Based in Tunica, Mississippi, EXTRALLOYS is the Montanstahl Group’s first hot extrusion hub in the Americas, dedicated to the production of hot extruded special profiles for customers across the continent. Using advanced hot extrusion technology, the company manufactures complex solid and hollow profiles with intricate geometries that are distinctive to the hot extrusion process. Production covers a wide variety of grades, including stainless steel (austenitic, duplex and super duplex), titanium (Grade 2 and Grade 5) and nickel alloys such as Inconel, Hastelloy and Monel. With extruded sections up to 17″ inscribed circle and lengths up to 90′, and the capability to produce single-bar prototypes as well as series, EXTRALLOYS gives domestic access to high-performance profiles that previously required overseas sourcing. These capabilities make EXTRALLOYS well suited to serve demanding sectors such as aerospace, defense, energy, industrial equipment, architecture and construction, where complex cross-sections and high-performance alloys are essential.
How MONTANSTAHL GROUP keeps growing
With the establishment of EXTRALLOYS, the group adds a hot extrusion production hub in the Americas, expanding Montanstahl’s network of companies and strengthening our presence in international markets. Alongside Stainless Structurals, Siderval and Montanstahl GmbH, EXTRALLOYS now forms part of the Montanstahl Group, and together with Stainless Structurals in Conroe, Texas, it offers one of the most complete specialty profile manufacturing platforms in the Americas, covering both laser-welded and hot-extruded solutions, with shorter lead times, full domestic production and Buy American compliance. This allows us to exploit important production and commercial synergies, reinforcing our position in the niche of custom steel profiles.
Thanks to a shared technology park that includes hot rolling, hot extrusion, cold rolling, cold drawing, and laser welding, the group has almost unlimited possibilities in the realization of complex geometries as well as in the choice of material to be used, embracing a wide range of application fields.
