Montanstahl has a multitude of "historical" steel window sections in its program which are produced on a regular basis. These window sections are unique when it comes down to esthetics and design. Due to the lack of a thermal brake, in cold climates these windows are mainly used for national heritage. In mild climate zones they can be used for internal as well as external applications.
Since 2008 Montanstahl is intensively developing, in close co-operation with the steel window manufacturer, a thermally broken steel window system to be able to cope with future regulations on thermal performance.
